　　大连自然博物馆是经联合国教科文组织注册的集动物、植物、古生物、地质标本收藏、研究、展示为一体的综合性自然科学博物馆，建筑面积1.5万平方米。其前身始建于1907年，馆藏各种标本近20万件，其中大型海洋哺乳动物标本和“热河生物群”化石标本是馆藏的突出特色。馆内设有海洋生物、恐龙、湿地、物种多样性等11个展厅。新馆陈列是东北地区最早获得“全国十大陈列精品奖”、全国第一个获得“最佳新技术、新材料运用奖”。是“全国青少年科技教育基地”。2003年以中国博物馆界代表身份参加中法文化年活动。-读书网|DuShu.com
