　　《京剧：贞观盛事》以戴英禄、梁波编剧的京剧剧本为基础进行了翻译和注释，讲述了贞观初年，李世民面对太平盛世自满得意，奢靡之风渐起。后来，李世民在魏征的力谏之下，将后宫的三千宫女放还回乡，此举赢得万民拥戴，贞观盛世局面继续巩固发展。

作者简介

　　黄少荣教授，是美国俄亥俄州辛辛那提大学（University of Cincinnati）英语与沟通交际学（English andCommunication）终身教授，2012年至今应聘任中国人民大学讲座教授，2007年至今应聘任西安外国语大学讲座教授。黄少荣的研究方向为跨文化沟通与政治修辞（cross-cultural communication and political rhetoric），在美国发表了英文学术论著1部、学术论文17篇。其作为美方主编与中国人民大学合作编写的大学英语本科口语教材1-4册2010年由中国人民大学出版社出版，其译介昆曲《西厢记》一书2013年十二月由外语教学与研究出版社出版。
