楚辞·译

　　楚辞，是中国浪漫主义文学的起源，更是中国文人想象力的源泉。屈原作楚辞，开了文人诗先河，诗歌的文学性大大提升。楚辞中明媚华丽的词藻、瑰丽无边的想象、跳跃明快的节奏，都让它成为了中国诗歌史的高峰，文学史上珍贵璀璨的明珠。它既是联接所有中国人思想、情感的文化纽带，也是中国文化走向世界的重要桥梁。本书中《楚辞》被许渊冲译成出色的英文韵语，并附许渊冲的序言概述其楚辞的理解，是以《楚辞》进行对外文化传播的经典范本。 英文简介（非对照版） Elegies of the South is anthology of twenty-nine of Qu Yuan’s poems that begins with the long melancholic poem Sorrows after Departure （Lisao ）， Qu’s most famous work， which initiated a tradition of romanticism in Chinese literature. Other notable works included in the anthology are The Nine Songs， For Those Fallen for the Country， The Last Sacrifice， The Nine Elegies， Divination， Great Requiem， Asking Heaven， The Fisherman， The Far-off Journey， Requiem etc. Qu Yuan’s masterpieces influenced some of the greatest Romanticist poets in Tang Dynasty， such as Li Bai and Du Fu.

　　许渊冲，1921年生于江西南昌。北京大学教授，资深翻译家，从事文学翻译长达六十余年，精通英法两大语种，故称“诗译英法*一人”，尤擅长中国古典诗词翻译，既能押原韵，又能保留原诗的意境。在国内外出版中、英、法文著译六十本，包括《诗经》《楚辞》《李白诗选》《西厢记》《红与黑》《包法利夫人》《追忆似水年华》等中外名著，2014年荣获国际翻译界*高奖项之一的“北极光”杰出文学翻译奖 ，系首位获此殊荣亚洲翻译家。
