作者简介

　　Huang Hanmin was born in Fuzhou in 1943， and gradu-ated from the Department of Architecture at Tsinghua Uni-versity in 1967 for bachelor and in 1982 for master. He ischief architect at the Fujian Provincial Research Instituteof Architectural Design， state-licensed class 1 registeredarchitect， executive member of Architectural Society ofChina， vice president of the Earth Construction Division，and president of the Fujian Provincial Architect Division.He has been awarded the first prize of Fujian ProvincialExcellent Architectural Design for all his architectural de-sign projects： the "Ancient Walls with the Setting Sun" inFuzhou West Lake Park， the Fujian Provincial Library， theFujian Auditorium.　His published books include Fujian Tulou （published inTaiwan）， Fujian Traditional Civilian Residence， HakkaTulou Civilian Residence， The Old House ： Fujian Civil-ian Residence （collaborated with Li Yuxiang）. He is edi-tor-in-chief for National Architecture of China： FujianVolume， compiler of Profiles on Fujian Culture， The Col-lected Works of Chinese Architectural Art： Houses of theMinority Nationalities in the southern China.
