My root is drinking in moisture.

This moisture is sap to help me grow.

It is going up into my leaves.

My leaves are drinking in air.

外面是多么明亮、多么美丽啊！

我又把根往泥土中扎了扎，

纤细的根开始汲取养分。

我的枝叶吸收着阳光和空气。

我向那棕黄色的壳道别：

“我已经是一棵植物，不再需要你了。”

我的根在吸取水分，

水分变成树液，助我生长。

树液沿着我的茎向上，进入了我的枝叶。

我的枝叶呼吸着空气。
