　　2006年l0月，国际商会在巴黎年会上通过了《跟单信用证统一惯例》（2007年修订版，简称《UCP600》并宣布于2007年7月113起实施。2010年9月27日，国际商会公布了{2010年国际贸易术语解释通则》，该通则于2011年1月1日起实施。为了适应经济全球化趋势的深入发展，应对新形势下国际贸易领域出现的新问题，体现国际贸易领域的新做法，增强学生使用外语从事国际经济贸易活动的能力，我们决定重新修订《外贸英语》教科书。在修订教科书前，我们分别向使用该教材的各高校征求对教科书的意见，并邀请有关专家学者进行座谈，研讨教科书的修改问题。与第1版相比，本书主要有如下几个方面的变化： 1．在第2章中，增加了{2010年国际贸易术语解释通则》，更新了“相关知识”和“阅读材料”的内容。2．在第6章中增加了“价格的核算”的内容，同时在课后练习中相应增加计算题。3．在第7章中，更新了“相关知识”的内容，并按照《UCP600》修改了有关内容。4．在第9章中增加了“不可抗力事件的处理原则与办法”。 5．对每一章后面的课后练习进行了大幅度的调整，课后练习分为三部分：基本技能训练、案例分析和实训。在原有练习题的基础上增加了大量的案例分析题和实训题，便于学生进行大量的技能训练，提高实践技能。
