TB/T 1632 Welding of Rails is published as four parts：-Part 1： General Technical Specifications;-Part 2： Flash Butt Welding;-Part 3： Thermit Welding;-Part 4： Gas Pressure Welding.This is the fourth part of TB/T 1632.This part is drafted as per rules given in GB/T1. 1-2009.This part， which supersedes Welding o f Rails Part 4 ： Gas Pressure Welding （TB/T1632. 4-2005） ， has been revised from TB/T1632. 4-2005 as follows：-The equipment requirements for gas pressure welding have been revised （see section 3. 2 herein and section 3. 2 in edition 2005） ;-The personnel requirements for gas pressure welding have been revised （see section 3. 3 herein and section 3. 3 in edition 2005） ;-The process requirements have been revised （see section 3. 4 herein and section 3. 4 in edition 2005） ;-The requirements on macrographic test items and welding joints of 1 080 MPa rail have been added （see section 3. 5 herein and section 3. 5 in edition 2005） ;-The hardness requirements for welding joints have been modified （see section 3. 5 herein and section 3. 5 in edition 2005） ;-The test methods have been modified （see Chapter 4 herein and Chapter 4 in edition 2005） ;-The test rules have been modified （see Chapter 5 herein and Chapter 5 in edition 2005） ;-Appendix A： Record of Gas Pressure Welding of Rail has been revised （see Appendix A herein and Appendix A in edition 2005）;-Appendix B： Fracture Defect Record of Weld has been added （see Appendix B）.This part is proposed and managed by the Standards and Metrology Research Institute of the Ministry of Railways.This part is drafted by the Metals and Chemistry Research Institute of China Academy of Railway Sciences and Research Institute of Standards and Measurement， the Ministry of Railways.This part is mainly drafted by Ding Wei， Gao Wenhui， Li Li and Zhu Mei.The previous editions superseded by this part include：-TB/T1632-1991;-TBlT1632. 2-1997 ;-TB/T1632. 4-2005.
